CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) POLICY

Preamble

ANSR Foundation, incorporated as a Section 8 not-for-profit company on September 26, 2023, is dedicated to improving the social and economic conditions of the communities it serves. As a key component of ANSR Global Corporation Private Limited and its affiliates’ CSR obligations, the foundation focuses on charitable initiatives aimed at uplifting marginalized groups, promoting education, and advancing community welfare.

This CSR policy outlines the scope, objectives, and implementation strategy for CSR activities that align with the goals of sustainable development, as specified by the Companies Act, 2013.

Objective

The primary objective of the ANSR Foundation’s CSR initiatives is to drive social and environmental impact through activities that:

  • Empower underprivileged communities by promoting education, vocational training, and skill development.
  • Ensure equitable access to basic needs such as clean water, healthcare, and sanitation.
  • Foster environmental sustainability by promoting eco-friendly initiatives and conservation efforts.

This CSR policy outlines the scope, objectives, and implementation strategy for CSR activities that align with the goals of sustainable development, as specified by the Companies Act, 2013.

Scope of CSR Activities

ANSR Foundation is committed to undertaking projects that:

  • Are in line with Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013.
  • Enhance the quality of life for the communities in which ANSR operates.
  • Contribute to the nation’s progress through sustainable, socially responsible initiatives.

Eligible CSR activities include but are not limited to:

  1. Eradicating Hunger, Poverty, and Malnutrition: Initiatives aimed at providing food security, promoting healthcare, sanitation, and ensuring access to clean drinking water.
  2. Promoting Education: Enhancing access to education, with a focus on vocational training, skill development, and special education for differently-abled individuals and marginalized groups.
  3. Empowering Women and Promoting Gender Equality: Programs focused on empowering women, providing shelter for women and orphans, and setting up homes for the elderly and other vulnerable populations.
  4. Rural and Slum Development Projects: Initiatives aimed at uplifting rural areas and slums through infrastructure development, better access to services, and livelihood generation.

Disaster Management and Relief: Providing support for disaster relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction efforts.

CSR Budget and Expenditure

The CSR budget will be determined annually by the Board of Directors and will be in compliance with the regulatory framework outlined in Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013. Surplus arising from CSR projects will be reinvested into similar projects and will not form part of the foundation’s business profits.

Implementation

CSR initiatives will be executed either directly by ANSR Foundation or through external implementing agencies, including NGOs and community organizations, to ensure effective and widespread impact. The foundation will collaborate with these entities to leverage their expertise and ensure the successful implementation of CSR programs.

Monitoring and Reporting

A robust monitoring system will be established to track the progress and impact of CSR activities. Regular reports will be submitted to the CSR Committee, which will review the initiatives periodically and provide guidance on their execution.

The CSR Committee will be responsible for overseeing the foundation’s CSR initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The committee comprises the following members:

Employee Engagement
